We recognize that even under the best of circumstances, our clients are anxious to resolve their legal issues, but the effect that the coronavirus is having on all of us worsens that anxiety. During this difficult time, we want you to be assured that we at Tavss Fletcher are here for you and will continue to be. We are still open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and will be as long as we are allowed.
In keeping with the directions of the Governor of Virginia, Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization, we have increased cleaning and sanitizing procedures. We have implemented measures to allow clients to meet with us remotely, whether by phone, FaceTime or Zoom video conferencing. If that changes, we are ready and prepared to continue to work for you from our homes. We do not anticipate any significant interruption in our ability to communicate with you except that if we must close the office, your calls will be forwarded to our receptionists, who may experience a high number of calls without the benefit of our in-office phone system. If that happens, and you receive a busy signal, please hang up and call back in a couple of minutes. As you have heard from our leaders across the nation and beyond, these are unprecedented times with an immeasurable amount of uncertainty. For our clients, their legal matters are exacerbated by the courts being closed except for emergencies; trial dates, settlement conferences, depositions and the like, are all being postponed. We are in contact with the courts, as their availability allows, to reschedule matters in the time frame most suitable for your cases.
