Couple Arrested and Charged With Bank Robbery Spree

The Sun Trust Bank in Norfolk was robbed at approximately 1:00 p.m. on Monday August 19. The police arrested two people in connection with this robbery.

The couple that is being charged with the robbery also robbed a PNC bank in Norfolk on July 23.

Sandra Fenton and Duane P. Goodson are the suspects of both bank robberies.

Fenton and Goodson are charged with the robbery that took place at the Sun Trust bank at 129 W. Little Creek Road in Norfolk. The police responded to the robbery just after 1:00 p.m.

The call came in as a white female, who is in her 20s, came in to the bank and implied that she had a weapon. She demanded that the employees of the bank give her money. According to the police, she left the bank and entered the passenger side of an older, green Nissan Sentra with a spoiler and six-spoke wheels.

Witnesses described the driver of the vehicle as having a goatee and dressed in all black.

There was another bank robbed, Wells Fargo Bank, less than an hour later, according to the police. Fenton and Goodson are suspects in this robbery as well.

Goodson was arrested that Monday night. Fenton was arrested after she showed up for her scheduled appointment at Probation and Parole in Virginia Beach at approximately 4:45 p.m.
