Richard J. Tavss

I’ve been with Mr. Tavss for over 50 years... My church brought him in to do some legal work back then. Over the years, he’s done a good job for my family when we’ve needed it. He’s just a nice, considerate man. You appreciate someone you can rely on, and he’s someone I can rely on.

~Mary Whitley

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. What can you do that’s different from other law firms?

We build long-term relationships with our clients. Many of our clients first walked into Tavss Fletcher decades ago. They trust us with their personal injury cases, criminal defense needs, and business matters, and refer their family and friends to us. This history gives us an intimate understanding of the people, the background of their cases, and even the other lawyers and judges involved. Our clients appreciate this continuity and trust our approach, knowing they have a dedicated partner guiding them through their legal challenges.

2. What’s the best advice you could give me in my personal injury case?

First, focus on getting better. Your health comes before anything else. But as you do, bring an attorney in early. Sometimes the full effects of an injury take weeks or even months to show up, and it helps to have someone looking out for you from the start. An attorney can handle the insurance company, protect your rights, and make sure you have a clear picture of what your case is worth before you decide on a settlement.
