Man Seriously Injured in Norfolk McDonalds Fight

A fight that broke out at a McDonalds in Norfolk on Saturday, November 2, causing one person to become seriously injured.

A scuffle broke up an otherwise peaceful afternoon at the fast food restaurant located in the 9600 block of Duffy’s Lane, according to Chris Amos with the Norfolk Police Depart. The fight took place just after 4:00 p.m.

Amos went on to say that the fight was contained to two people. The man who was injured in the fight has suffered life threatening injuries. How the individual was injured in the fight has not yet been released by the police. He is, however, expected to make a full recovery.

According to one of the security guards who works in the area, he witnessed what happened after the fight.

"I seen about maybe three cop cars and an ambulance. I did see someone come out on the rescue board into the ambulance, so somebody was severely injured," Moore said.

One of the individuals who was apparently involved in the Norfolk criminal fight was identified as Terrence Donyea Lee, 42 years old. Lee was detained by the police officers who responded to the scene.

The local authorities charged Lee with felony aggravated assault due to his part in the fight.

According to Amos, there were no weapons used during the fight.

At this point the incident remains under investigations.
